Centuria Pro 400 manufactured by Konica / Minolta up until a few years ago was a fine film for astrophotography. I stocked some leftover film a few years ago and have shot it on occasion. It is a fine portrait film that happens to be useful under the Night Sky. World famous astrophotographer Wei-Hao Wang used this film for amazing images of the Milky Way, some of which are not surpassed by todays digital equipment.
I am mid way through a roll of Centuria at present and will be posting results that will surpass this image taken last October of the Great Rift in Aquila. A 50 minute exposure using a piggyback mounted Pentax 67 and 75mm f/4.5 lens wide open.
